Astrid, is a polled frosted black mouflon single born 4/16/06 to a yearling.  We are pleased to have this beautiful mouflon ewe in our flock from "Jager Farm" in Massachusetts.  Her mother, BLW 821R "Silky" had the most outstanding lamb fleece in 2005 at Jager Farm.  Astrid seems to be cut from a similar cloth, having a unique, soft, even, thel rich fleece of charcoal and silver with silky medium fine thog, very beautiful.  She has a fantastic combination of AI bloodlines, 12.50% Dalur, 12.50% Hynkill, 6.25% Flekkur, 6.25% Flotti, 6.25%  Skreppur, 6.25% Butur for a total of 50% AI bloodlines.   Astrid is an extremely milky ewe with great maternal qualities and now has a lambing record of (1,2,2,2).   Astrid was bred to Bjarni, so lambs will be mouflon or solid, moorit or black possibly grey.  On Deposit

Snoja is a polled twin born 05/02/08.  She is the daughter of Freyja and National Champion Icelandic Ram, Preston.  Snoja and her brother were two of the fastest growing twins of '08.  She is a large framed, long bodied ewe with excellent harmony and a lustrous, plentiful fleece with medium soft togg.  Snoja has the AI bloodlines of Arfi, Dimon, Eir, Buri, Hunn and Skreppur for a total of 87.45% AI.  She has a lambing record of (2,2) and was an excellent first-time mom to her twins.  Snoja is likely homozygous white, but could also be heterozygous and carry the solid pattern and spotting. Time will tell.  Snoja was bred to Valur for 2011, so lambs will likely be white carrying moorit and the solid pattern.

Anna is a moorit/grey ewe out of Freyja, our best maternal line from Jager Farm.  She is an AI daughter by Mokollur and has lovely soft thel rich wool.   Very stocky, well built, deep chested ewe, she has a large build with excellent meaty conformation.  We're excited to have her in the flock and look forward to see what she produces for us in the years ahead.  Both Anna and her sister, Eva, showed excellent parasite resistance over the summer.  Anna was bred to Dakota for 2010 lambs and was an excellent first-time mom to beautiful twins.  Anna was bred to Vidar, so lambs could be badgerfaced or mouflon and possibly grey and moorit. Her AI bloodlines include: Mokollur, Dimon, Eir, Skreppur and Hunn

Tina, is a white AI ewe lamb by Mokollur.  Her mother Josephine is the granddaughter of two of our all-time favorite sheep, Margret and Big Boy.  This girl is really special.  She has the same moorit pigmented skin that her mother had indicating that she is homozygous for moorit though she is expressing white.  Her wool is soft and silky, but no surprise considering her bloodlines.  Long, well built and ellegant ewe.  Tinna was an excellent first-time mom to a very large, single ram lamb.  She is bred to Vidar for 2011lambs, so lambs could be moorit or black badgerface or mouflon patterned . AI bloodlines include:  Mokollur, Heli and Askur.

Mona is a very dark moorit ewe with thick, medium soft wool, it's very lovely.  She has a nice build with good bone structure and conformation, long and straight back, a very friendly ewe.  She is the daughter of Monika, ( a favorite in our flock) and farm ram Morris.  Mona was bred with Dakota for 2010 lambs and was a great fisrt-time mom to a beautiful frosted mouflon ram lamb with fancy wite flashing.  Very handsome ram lamb.  Mona was bred to Vidar for 2011, so lambs could be moorit, badgerfaced or mouflon patterned. She has many AI bloodlines: Mori, Heli, Flekkur, Hynkill, Askur, Sveppur.

Svanna, is another daughter out of our ewe, Monika.  She is a large and elegant spotted, moorit badgerface ewe and a nice addition to our flock.  She is a twin and has a very lovely, soft white fleece.  She has the AI bloodlines of Flekkur, Hynkill, Heli and Sveppur.  Svanna is bred to Bjarni for 2011, so lambs will be moorit, and may be badgerface, grey or co-expressed. Margret, born a twin 4/17/02 came to us from Alan Leighton's "The Creeks Edge" in South Dakota.  Margret carries solid, black, moorit and spotting, she is a farm favorite and permanent member of the flock and known all over the country now for her "Bette Davis eyes".  Margret has become kind of famous having been the subject of many paintings, she is friendly, gregarious and loves attention. Margret shows her 25% AI lineage being a granddaughter of AI ram Askur.  She has a wonderfully large frame, meaty conformation and raises fast growing lambs, they're always eating!  She is a good mother and milker and has a lambing record of (1,2,2,2,2, (1,AI).  She has very soft medium to fine thel and silky medium thog.  Margret has a beautiful daughter in the flock (Josephine) sired by our AI Heli ram, 198L.   Margret was bred with Valur for 2010 lambs.

Nanna, a twin born 4/24/02 came to us from Alan Leighton's "The Creeks Edge" in South Dakota.  She is a beautiful polled black badgerface ewe and carries moorit and solid.  Nanna is a permanent addition of the flock, she is a friendly large framed ewe showing her 25% Askur lineage, she is a heavy milker with a perfect udder, has fast growing lambs and still manages to keep herself in perfect condition throughout the year.  She is a granddaughter of AI ram Askur and has a beautiful lustrous fleece with medium to fine even silvery thel and silky locks of medium thog.  Nanna has a lambing record of (1,2,2,2,1) and is an excellent mother.   Nanna was bred  to AI ram Mori for spring 2008 lambs

Mona, born 4/27/02 is a polled spotted moorit twin.  She came to us from Alan Leighton's "The Creeks Edge" in South Dakota.  Although somewhat aloof with people, Mona is the clown of the flock entertaining everyone with her antics.  Mona will get so excited at feeding time that she will often throw her hind legs in the air and walk on her front hooves!  She is very intelligent and inquisitive, she is the mother of Monika so it's easy to see where Monika gets her personality.  Mona is the granddaughter of AI Sveppur on her fathers side and a great granddaughter of AI Heli on her mothers side.  She is a medium sized ewe with average meat qualities and is an average milker. Mona has a beautiful long silvery spotted moorit fleece with medium to fine thel and medium thog. she has a lambing record of (1,2,2,2,1) and is a very good mother. Mona was bred with  TCE RAM B5SP 2246R - Sven.  Mona gave birth to a large black and white ram lamb.

Inga WPW EWE B5P INGA 9S: Polled black solid twin ewe. Born 2006. She carries 37.5% AI bloodlines (Askur, Heli). Calm and curious. Nice build, lovely fleece. Bylgja WPW EWE BYLGJA 01P 17T: Polled white twin ewe (to a ewe lamb). Born 2007. She carries 53.1% AI bloodlines (Askur, Bassi, Dalur, Dimon, Dropi, Heli, Hnykill, Hunn, Skreppur). Polled white single AI ewe. Born April 9, 2008. 8 lbs., 7 oz. 68.8% AI blood (Askur, Heli, Lykill). Carries solid. May carry moorit. Wow, what a nice meaty build on this vigorous, happy girl.  She is stout, round all over, and very broad.  Ingaborg has a very thick and soft fleece, one of the softest of the 2008 lambs.  An excellent addition to our flock.   She has  lambing record of (2) and was an excellent first-time mom.  Her mother and grandmother were great moms and outstanding milkers.  Sire: Lykill 03-977.  Dam: Inga WPW EWE B5P INGA 9S.  Ingaborg was bred to Dakota for 2010 lambs which could be black/white spotted and mouflon.

Josephine, a twin born 4/24/06 is a large bodied white ewe carrying solid and moorit.  She is the daughter of Margret and 198L so has 25.00% Heli and 12.50% Askur bloodlines and shows all of the promise of her genetics!  Josephine's fleece has lustrous soft fine thel and silky medium thog.  We're excited about adding her 2009 AI Mokollur lamb, Tinna  to our flock as well.   Josephine now has a lambing record of (1,2,2) and was bred with Dakota for spring 2010 lambs,  the lambs could be moorit, black, solid and mouflon.  Josephine is an excellent mother with good milking abilities.

Granddaughter of our beloved Margret and Ram 198L "Big Boy", Mora is a beautiful, single, dark moorit ewe lamb out of Josephine.  She has a large frame, good conformation, beautiful soft tog and thick, thel rich, dark moorit fleece and a meaty buid.  Her sire is, Samson.  Mora has many AI bloodlines including 15.63% Heli, 7.81% Askur, 3.13% Dropi, 3.13% Bassi, 1.56% Dalur, 1.56% Hynkill, 1.56% Skreppur for a total of 34.38% AI.   Mora was an excellent first-time mother to twin ram lambs in '08 and excellent mother in '09 to her Orvar daughter, Opha.  Easy lamber and quick to attend her lambs.  Mora has a lambing record of (2, (1, AI) and was bred with Heracles for spring 2010 lambs that could be black, moorit and/or badgerface.
